Little Revy was our first born and a little whopper who held up traffic. Within 24 hours he had found his voice and was the howler of the group, always screaming and loudly complaining about being hungry, for anyone who has seen Stargate Atlantis, you'll appreciate how fitting the nickname 'McKay' was.
He was a standout puppy from day one with a lovely head and very sweet temperament and exactly what I had hoped for with this combination. It was no surprise at assessment day that he came out on top and so, he was offered to my sister. She and her partner had fallen in love with Vader and recently returned from an 18 month working holiday overseas, and were dying for a fluffy companion to dote on. I was harassed for weeks by the entire family over 'which puppy is Emma's', so it was a relief when I could finally give an answer.
Revy's name comes from the town Emma and Mat lived in whilst overseas, Revelstoke, which I think is just adorable. His registered name has a double meaning which is something quite special to me, it's not only my favourite band but as he was the first born puppy in my first ever litter, it truly was a day to remember.
Revy will occasionally be making appearances in the show ring, either during my family visits or via the wonderful friends who have offered to handle him. I'm truly blessed to have such a wonderful network of friends and a family who have embraced my crazy dog lady antics.
